The 5500HD Meal Feeder comes packed with upgrades and innovations designed to make feeding easier and more efficient. Its numbered Adjuster Guard Handle, Flow Assist system, and Adjuster Lock allow precise control of feed delivery, while strategically located cleaning tool and tube spanner storage keeps essential tools close at hand. Built for durability, the feeder features an upgraded roof pivot, reinforced stainless steel troughs, and upper and lower adjusters, along with dual adjuster guards with a locking system and housing when not in use. High stability is ensured with a fully supported hopper over skids, reinforced by SHS braces, a vertical centre brace, hot-dip galvanised skids, and laser-cut corners to prevent rust.

The trough and feed flow system includes a channel-reinforced, 45° angled Z275 sheet metal trough with deep 110 mm trough depth, 100 mm feed flow area, vertical sidewall bracing, and gutters that drain feed out of the feeder, all protected from the elements by roof and rain reinforcements. Adjuster and control features like adjustable tine guides, multiple braces, locking bolts, and a painted notch system give full flexibility for different stock sizes.

Farmers can monitor feed levels easily through eight 75 mm sight glasses and volume stickers, while the supplied cleaning tools and secure tool housing simplify maintenance. With a generous 2,380 mm trough length and optional add-ons such as a mineral attachment and calf creep feeding panels, the 5500HD can be customised to any operation. The feeder is available flat-packed or assembled, comes with a user guide, 5-year extended warranty, 30-day money-back guarantee, and trial reports for added peace of mind.
